Canterbury Tales, Asian Style

We pulled into our last hotel in Osaka a short while ago and said goodbye to our fellow travelers on this tour of Japan.
Carol, a spry dancer at 71, is off to China next, then on to Macau,Viet Nam, and finally a cruise along the coast of Taiwan. Her traveling companion, Cherry, is of a similar age. They are both such interesting people. We are going to miss them greatly.
Others are off to Singapore, India, Beijing, Taipei, or home to Canada.
Four of us are flying home to the states.
Like Chaucer's fellow pilgrims, as we moved from shrine to shrine - temple to temple, new friendships were forged, and tales were told along the way.
It's been a fine trip - full of good stories.
And I'm almost ready to come home.
